VERY RARE - Live and Let Die - Cape 1st edition/2nd impression (1954)
A rare opportunity to own a very early edition of the Ian Fleming classic, Live and Let Die. This first edition, second impression was published in May 1954, just one month after the initial print run.
The book is from a private collection, not ex-library, and is in very good condition for its age. The gold lettering on the spine is faded, but the gold coin on the front board remains a nice gold colour. The is a half centimetre tear at the top of the spine and some lean, but the book is completely intact with no loose pages. There is a coffee stain on the inside cover and FFEP (see photo) but otherwise the pages are very clean with no tears or creases.
There is no dust jacket, hence the price I'm selling at. Overall, a very nice book for anyone looking to add an early edition to their Fleming collection.
